Pre-School

  • Large, bright and cozy environment
  • Maximum group size: 16 children to 2 teachers
  • Consistent schedule with weekly curriculum plans incorporating: creative play, letter recognition, writing skills, sharing skills and singing
  • Balanced activities (individual and group)
  • Daily outside play, weather permitting
  • Social skills—turn-taking, listening skills, speaking in-turn— are a large part off a preschoolers day
  • Self-help skills are an important part of day—putting on coats, hygiene, healthy snack choices and cleaning up
  • Children practice letter formation, reflect on books and personal experiences and practice other age-appropriate language and literacy skills in a journal
  • Morning and afternoon meetings take place daily during which children and teachers
